Copper Coat application
An epoxy resin with a high copper content that protects the underwater hull for many seasons — without yearly antifouling.
01 The service
Copper Coat is a different approach to underwater protection: instead of antifouling every year, a hard copper-loaded epoxy coating is applied once and keeps working for many years.
Its success depends almost entirely on preparation. The hull must be taken back to the substrate, be dry, and the application must be done in controlled conditions at the correct thickness.

The process, step by step.
- 01
Removal of all old antifouling by sandblasting

03 FAQ
Your most common questions.
Does it need maintenance?
A simple wash when the boat is lifted is recommended and, when needed, a light abrade to “wake up” the copper.
Can it go over existing antifouling?
No. The hull must first be completely stripped of old antifouling, usually by sandblasting.
