Anti-osmosis protection
An epoxy barrier system that seals the hull and protects it from moisture ingress — on new or repaired boats.
01 The service
Anti-osmosis protection is the best prevention for GRP boats. Multiple coats of epoxy primer create a waterproof barrier between the water and the laminate.
It is applied to new boats, to boats with no sign of osmosis as prevention, and always as the final stage of an osmosis repair. Its effectiveness depends on preparation and on the correct film thickness.
